Bailout is first step to recovery

We held our breath all of last week as the Wall Street roller coaster ride continued. After the shocking 777-point tumble on last Monday, the Dow staged a stunning 485-point recovery at the end of Tuesday. The partial-market recovery indicated expectations that the massive $700 billion economic rescue plan may be approved in a matter of days despite the setback of the previous week.
